CREDIT CARD PROCESSING DEVICE, POS TERMINAL, POS SYSTEM, PROGRAM, AND CREDIT CARD PROCESSING CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely obtain card information of a credit card without degrading work efficiency. SOLUTION: This credit card processing device is equipped with: a magnetic head 58 for reading magnetic data of a credit card C; a scanner head 44 for reading an image of a surface of the credit card C; a memory 160 for storing the image data read by the scanner head 44; a control part 70 for determining whether reading by the magnetic head 58 is normally carried out or not; and an OCR 151 for extracting the card number of the credit card C by OCR processing based on the image data when it is determined that the reading of the magnetic data is not normally carried out.
