Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of easily setting the image quality characteristics preferred by a user. SOLUTION: The projector is provided with an image interface 1, an image processing means 2, a display parameter interface 3, an external storage medium 4, an internal storage means 5, a control means (microcomputer) 6 and an image projection means 7. Since the setting value of display parameters are stored in the external storage medium 4, limitation in the amount of the display parameter is eliminated. Also, by having the setting value of the display parameter be read from the external storage medium 4 even for the projector to be used for the first time, the projector can be used in the same state as the projection image quality used normally.
