SOLUTION: Metastin and a compound promoting the metastin activity, or the like, are useful as an excellent gonadal function improving agent, an ovulation inducing and promoting agent, a gonadotropic secretion promoting agent or a sex hormone secretion promoting agent and effective for the safe prevention and treatment of infertility, hormone-sensitive cancer, endometriosis, or the like.
