SUSPICIOUS SHIP DETECTION METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find and identify a suspicious ship existing around an own ship at an early stage. SOLUTION: The ship existing around the own ship is monitored by a radar 20 and a behavior pattern of the ship cruising around the own ship is analyzed, the behavior pattern is compared with a suspicious behavior pattern of the suspicious ship registered in a database beforehand, and the ship having the behavior pattern consistent with or similar to the suspicious behavior pattern is acknowledged as the suspicious ship, and thereby the existence of the suspicious ship around the own ship can be detected and foreseen from a remote distance at an early stage.
