ROLLER TYPE SIEVING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller type sieving apparatus which is relieved from the problem of friction and wear of sieving mesh forming members, is excellent in durability, and can be optionally assembled by properly exchanging members. SOLUTION: In the roller type sieving apparatus, a sieving mesh-forming member of a roller comprises integrally assembled wear resistant processed pieces exposed in the surface for contact. A preferable apparatus as the roller type sieving apparatus is a type enabled to be assembled freely and more preferably comprises a rotary shaft and a flange member and a spacer to be fitted to the rotary shaft. The wear resistant processed pieces are buried in a substrate for sieving mesh-forming member and the sieving mesh-forming member is preferable to be those obtained by fitting the wear resistant processed pieces with the substrate and fixing them with an adhesive or a soldering material or platelike members with a large diameter. The wear resistant processed pieces have L- or T-shaped extended parts for fixation and a plate-like shape and are preferably made of a cemented carbide or a hard ceramic. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
