METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VERIFYING EMOTIONAL CHANGE OF EXAMINEE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and its device for verifying emotional changes of an examinee, which can highly sensitively detect a emotional change attributed to his/her lying, promptly respond to any instant change in detected values, and reduce the burden or restraint imposed on the examinee by making the measurement less stimulative to the examinee so as not to cause noises. SOLUTION: This method for verifying change in emotions of an examinee includes measuring pulse waves at two or more different regions on the examinee's body, detecting the time difference of the pulse wave occurrence among them, and verifying the examinee's emotional change based on the variations in the time difference of the pulse wave occurrence. The device for verifying change in emotions of the examinee is provided with a plurality of pulse wave measurement means for measuring pulse waves at two or more regions on the examinee's body, and a time difference detection means for detecting the time difference of the pulse wave occurrence among each of them, based on whose variations the examinee's emotional change can be verified.
