Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when a semiconductor laser (hereinafter called LD) is used as a light source, an LD holder is formed of a material having a relatively high thermal conductivity for cooling purposes, and the LD is directly soldered to an LD substrate for preventing noise or for other purposes, however, legs of the LD cannot be very short in order to prevent a light emitting portion of the LD from being damaged by heat of the solder with some distance between the LD holder and the LD substrate, and therefore, if pillars for supporting the LD substrate are extended directly from the LD holder, heat capacity is increased and a speed of response of temperature control becomes slow. SOLUTION: The LD 1 is attached to the LD holder 2 formed of chromium-copper, and is elastically fastened by means of an LD presser plate 3. Then, the LD holder 2 is assembled in a collimate lens holder 4, and the LD 1 is lighted up by a provisional driver and the LD holder 2 is aligned so as to make light flux at a predetermined position, and then the LD 1 is fastened to the collimate lens holder 4. Then, a substrate holder 5 formed of a resin material is fastened to the LD holder 2, the legs of the LD 1 are soldered to the LD substrate 6, and the LD substrate 6 is fastened to the substrate holder 5.
