ROTATING BODY, SUCH AS WINDMILL FOR WIND POWER GENERATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating body, such as a windmill for wind power generation, capable of promptly rising up after start of rotation and of performing stable rotation by large inertial action during rotation. SOLUTION: This rotating body is provided with a mass body 3, a guide 4 for guiding the mass body 3 such that the mass body 3 can be moved between a position in a rotation center side and a position separated outwardly in the radius line direction from the position in the rotation center side, and a spring energizing means 5 for energizing the mass body 3 in the rotation center side. During stop of the rotation, the mass body 3 is located in the rotation center side position by spring energizing force by the spring energizing means 5. After start of the rotation, the mass body 3 resists against the spring energizing force by the spring energizing means 5, due to centrifugal force, and is moved to the position separated outwardly in the radius line direction from the rotation center side position.
