VENTILATION FAN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation fan capable of preventing a charging part of an electric system and an indoor wall face from being wetted, even when misty water droplets are sucked, simplifying the assembling of electric components, and having a function of protecting them from the water and the like. SOLUTION: This ventilation fan comprises a main body 3 having a cylindrical wind channel 2 mounted in a state of being inserted into a pipe 1 or a duct communicating the inside and outside of the room, and an air blower forming the ventilation flow by rotating an impeller 4 in the air channel 2, a flange part 6 connected with an outer periphery of an indoor-side opening part of the air channel 2 of the main body 3, having a flat part 7, and being radially projected, and a raised part 8 formed on an edge of the flange part 6 and projecting to a back side kept into contact with the indoor-side wall face at its end face. An accommodating part 13 continued to the back face of the flange part 6 is defined by the air channel 2, the flange part 2 and the raised part 8, and a package 14 provided with a connecting terminal 15 at its upper side, and a power source switch 17 at its lower side is accommodated in the accommodating part 13.
