PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint capable of simplifying the pipe machining and fastening work. SOLUTION: An O-ring, a packing and the like mounted on an inner face of a joint main body is air-tightly connected with an outer face of the pipe, or the outer face of the pipe is fixed by a claw-shaped projection of a grip ring, and the joint main body and the grip ring are integrated through an inclined slide face 3 of a hexagon cap nut. When the pipe is inserted into the joint, they are air-tightly connected by the O-ring, the packing and the like outside of the pipe, or the pipe outer face is fixed by the slide type grip ring with a claw-shaped projection, and integrated with the joint main body by the hexagon cap nut kept into contact therewith at the inclined slide face. When the pipe may be slipped off, the grip ring further strongly fastens the pipe by the movement of the inclined slide face kept into contact with the hexagon cap nut and the grip ring, whereby the separation can be prevented, and the liquid leakage can be also prevented.
