Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg material having a good shape-retaining stability without floating or separating of a prepreg from a release paper. SOLUTION: The prepreg material is obtained by carrying at least either surface of the preprag prepared by impregnating a resin composition into a reinforced fiber, on the release paper having ≤300 g/m2/24 h moisture permeability and ≤0.5%/h initial moisture-absorbing dimensional change rate at 23°C and 80% RH. The production of the prepreg material is carried out by impregnating the resin composition into reinforced fiber bundles by pressing a release paper coated with the resin composition against at least either side of the reinforced fiber sheet faces, where the release paper to carry the prepreg has the above-described physical properties.
