Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the temperature of a material to be carbonized to be measured without attaching a temperature sensor at every replacement of the material to be carbonized. SOLUTION: The induction heater-type carbonization furnace for carrying out the induction heating of a furnace body 3 storing the material 8 to be carbonized in the interior of the furnace with an inert gas atmosphere to carbonize the material 8 to be carbonized has a fan 5 installed in the interior of the furnace and for compulsorily circulating a gas in the furnace, an inflow gas sensor 12 for measuring the temperature of the gas in the furnace flowing into the material to be carbonized, and an outflow gas sensor 13 for measuring the temperature of the gas in the furnace flowing out from the material to be carbonized. The temperature of the material 8 to be carbonized is judged from the measured values of the two temperature sensors 12, 13. The temperature of the gas in the furnace flowing into the material 8 to be carbonized is higher than that of the material 8 to be carbonized, and the temperature of the gas in the furnace flowing out from the material 8 to be carbonized is lower than that of the material 8 to be carbonized, so the temperature of the material 8 to be carbonized is indirectly measured by estimating that the temperature is between these temperatures.
