PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the movement of an operation stand to a dangerous area at an elevated position to secure safety by causing an operator to feel a considerable degree of fear of elevated position. SOLUTION: A pair of transparent parts 15 are symmetrically installed on the liftable operation stand 8 of the forklift covering the feet of the operator M who operates an operation panel 9. These transparent parts 15 comprise opening parts 15a formed through the operation stand 8, frame parts 15b, and transparent plates 15c fitted to the frame parts and closing the opening parts 15a. When the operation stand 8 is raised at the elevated position, the operator M can view a floor through the pair of transparent plates 15c. Accordingly, the considerable fear of the elevated place is induced in the operator M to suppress the movement of the operation stand to the dangerous area. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
