SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such that a total conveying distance from a start of conveying a sheet to a completion of conveying of the sheet becomes long, and the time required for the conveyance per sheet become long accordingly. SOLUTION: This device comprises a conveyance means conveying a sheet 2 using a first conveyance path R1, a second conveyance path, and a third conveyance path 3; a guide member 13 having a guide face 14 guiding conveyance of the sheets, and movable between a first action position bridging a guide face between the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path and a second action position movable between the second or third conveyance path and the guide face. A control unit delivers sheets to the second conveyance path from the first conveyance path by the conveying action of the conveyance means under a guide member 13 is moved to the first action position, and the conveying action is once stopped under a rear end of the sheet is positioned on the guide face of the guide member. The guide member is moved from the first action positioned to the second action position under its stop position, and is controlled to deliver the sheets to the third conveyance path by reversing a conveyance direction by the conveying action of the conveyance means.
