DEGASSING IMPLEMENT FOR CASTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degassing implement for casting capable of improving cooling effect thereby shortening solidified time, enhancing degassing effect and improving a production yield even in the case of needing a deep core working at the time for producing a casting. SOLUTION: The degassing implement 100 for casting, which is formed in the inner part of a hollow-columnar iron core 100 used for the hole work as cast and is provided with a degassing passage X for exhausting generated gas in a mold from the bottom surface part side of the iron core 100, is provided with a cooling passage Y for reciprocative flowing of cooling gas formed in the inner part of the iron core 100. In the degassing implement 100, the degassing passage X is constituted so as to communicate with the cooling passage Y, and the degassing is performed with a venturi effect by utilizing the reciprocative flowing of the cooling gas in the cooling passage Y.
