Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the actuator latch system of a disk drive which can function against various shock. SOLUTION: An actuator latch system of a disk drive which locks an actuator having a swing arm 132 installed at a base member 110 to be freely rotatable, a VCM coil 136 joined to an end portion of the swing arm and a magnet 138 arranged to face the VCM coil 136 is equipped with: first and second latch portions 221, 222 provided at the end portion of the swing arm; a latch lever 210 which is provided at the base member to be freely rotatable and has a first end portion 211 engaged with the first latch portion 221 when the latch lever 210 pivots counterclockwise and a second end portion 212 engaged with the second latch portion 222 when the lever 219 pivots clockwise; a projection 234 projecting from an edge of the magnet 138; and a latch pin 224 provided at an end portion of the swing arm 132 and made of a magnetic material so that a magnetic force acts between the latch pin and the projection 234.
