SPECTRAL IMAGE DATA PROCESSING METHOD AND SPECTRAL IMAGE DATA PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently maintain spectral image data by devising a way of holding of a component of low recognition ability and a component of high recognition ability in human sight. SOLUTION: This spectral image data processor performing a process for holding image data including the spectral image data has: a color reproduction means dealing with the whole image, producing main basic color data represented by a plurality of main basic colors; a reduction means producing spectral intensity data corresponding to one of a partial image constituting a part of the whole image, a thinned-out image, and a reduced image generated by reducing the whole image; and a composition means composing the main basic color data and one of the partial image, the thinned-out image and the reduced image to produce a composite image data file.
