MELTING HOLDING FURNACE CONTROLLING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting holding furnace controlling device capable of making a volume of holding molten metal small. SOLUTION: This melting holding furnace controlling device 100 comprises a melting chamber 20 for melting a metal material 23 into molten metal 50 by a melting burner 21, a holding chamber 30 adjusting and holding the molten metal 50 flowed from the melting chamber 20 to a predetermined temperature by a holding burner 31, and a discharge chamber 40 communicated with the holding chamber 30 and discharging the molten metal 50 to a casting machine. The discharge chamber 40 has a metal level height detector 43 detecting level height of the molten metal 50, and is equipped with a melting burner control part 61 controlling output of the melting burner 21 based on metal level height signals from the metal level height detector 43. In this manner, a volume of the molten metal 50 supplied to the holding chamber 30 from the melting chamber 20 according to the metal level height can be controlled, so as to control the molten metal 50 not to overflow.
