Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator fuel injection internal combustion engine capable of automatically controlling the pressure inside a common rail with a simple means without requiring to obtain data by test working of an engine, capable of controlling the pressure inside the common rail in response to an external disturbance even if the external disturbance works, and capable of accurately controlling the pressure inside the common rail over the whole range of operation of the engine. SOLUTION: In this accumulator fuel injection internal combustion engine, pressure of the fuel inside the common rail is detected to compute a pressure difference ΔP = P1- P0between a fuel pressure detection value P1and the preset fuel pressure target value P0, and a part of the pressure difference ΔP is stored per the predetermined crank angle of the engine, and accumulated as a feed-forward quantity δPi. The feed-forward quantity δPiis added to a feedback output ΔPpobtained by controlling a residual part of the pressure difference ΔP with PID (proportion, integration and differentiation), and this operation is repeated in response to the crank angle of the engine to control to equalize the pressure inside the common rail.
