Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control transmission of loads to a rear part of a front side member when a vehicle collides. SOLUTION: A front part 12B of the front side member 12 is linearly arranged along the forward and backward directions of a vehicle body, and a cross sectional shape has a rectangular closed cross section structure when viewed from the forward and backward directions of the vehicle body. The rear part 12C of the front side member 12 is composed of a basic part 20 connected with a rear part of the front part 12B toward a rear part of the vehicle body and a step difference pressure receiving part 22 formed on a lower side of the basic part 20. A front wall part 22A of the step difference pressure receiving part 22 is extended vertically and downward from a rear end of the front part 12B of the front side member 12. A closed cross section part 22B connecting the front wall part 22A with a lower end part 12E of a kick part 12D is formed on a rear side of the vehicle body of the front wall part 22A.
