PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone having an alcohol detection function that can detect the intake of alcohol easily and accurately and can be inexpensively manufactured without obstructing the original phone call function. SOLUTION: The cellular phone 1 comprises a telephone body 2, and an alcohol detector provided at the telephone body 2. The alcohol detector comprises an alcohol detection unit incorporated in the telephone body 2, and a cylindrical breathing introduction section 4 extended from a case 3 of the telephone body 2. In the breathing introduction section 4, one end is supported by a rotatable universal joint (connection section 7) to the case 3, and the other end has a suction opening 6 for sucking the breath of a subject.
