Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a laminated fuel cell in a box-like casing with a simple and inexpensive constitution, and to prevent gas leakage by slippage in each fuel cell. SOLUTION: This fuel cell stack 10 is provided with a laminated body 14 wherein a plurality of fuel cells 12 are laminated in a direction of an arrow A, and the laminated body 14 is housed in the box-like casing 22. The space adjustment mechanism 60 constituting a fuel cell stack 10 is provided with a side pressing plate 62, a plurality of adjusting screws 64 capable of pressing the side pressing plate 62 to the laminated body 14, an upper part pressing plate 66, and a plurality of adjusting screws 68 capable of pressing the upper part pressing plate 66 to the laminated body 14.
