ELECTRONIC DICTIONARY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic dictionary which is much more convenient to a user in order to prevent any unnecessary jump not by displaying any jump designation in the same dictionary in the candidate list of jump designations when a jump target word is a title word. SOLUTION: This electronic dictionary is provided with a title word detecting means for detecting that a title word is selected as a jump target word, and a jump control means to retrieve a jump designation is interlocked according to a detection signal from the title word detecting means.
