WINDBREAKING DEVICE AT TIP OF CHIMNEY STACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a windbreaking device at a tip of a chimney, demonstrating excellent wind and rain preventing capability even against strong winds. SOLUTION: A truncated conical straightening umbrella 15 is mounted on a tip of a cylindrical base body 13, and then a truncated conical intermediate straightening umbrella 16 is mounted on a tip of the straightening umbrella 15. A conical windbreaking umbrella 17 is mounted on a tip of the intermediate straightening umbrella 16. Base end diameters of respective umbrellas 15, 16, 17 are made smaller toward the windbreaking umbrella 17. The tip diameter of the adjacent umbrella at the base end side is made smaller than the base end diameter of the tip side umbrella and the base end part of the base end side umbrella and the tip part of the tip side umbrella are overlapped by a small width to prevent omnidirectional wind and rain from affecting inside of the chimney etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
