SOLUTION: The antiinflammatory agent or antiallergic agent is characterized as comprising the mannosyl erythritol lipid. Furthermore, the mannosyl erythritol lipid is preferably of a mode represented by structural formula (1) [wherein, R1to R4may each be the same or different and denote each hydrogen atom, acetyl group or a fatty acid acyl group].
