Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a plate on the outside of the drum of an external drum image system in a correct direction with the emulsion side thereof facing upward during transportation. SOLUTION: A base layer picker is installed to pick up a base layer from a base layer stack. Next, the base layer is delivered to a transport system transporting the base layer to an visualization engine. A base layer reverse system is also installed in this mechanism. In this system, in the apparatus of this invention, the visualization side or emulsion side of the base layer is inverted from the underside to the upper side. Thus, the plate stored in a cassette with the emulsion side facing downward is reversed so that the emulsion side faces upward, and transported to the visualization engine by using a base layer transportation system.
