CLAMP MECHANISM FOR THROWAWAY TIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp mechanism for a tip which can stably support the tip to the tip and a holder without requiring high precision so much, and moreover, can mount the tip as it is to a different holder. SOLUTION: A mounting seat bottom face 4A and a pair of mounting seat wall faces 4B, 4C, which is extended so as to be mutually close toward in the direction separating from the mounting seat bottom face 4A side and made so as to be capable of separating from and being brought into contact with by a clamp means 17, are provided on a tip mounting seat 4. Seating faces 8A, 8B, which can be brought into contact with the mounting seat bottom face 4A, and a pair of contact faces 9A, 10A and 9B, 10B, which is extended so as to be mutually close toward in the direction separating from the seating face 8A, 8B side and made so as to be capable of being brought into contact with the mounting seat wall faces 4B, 4C, are provided in two pairs to the rear end part 6 of the tip 5 against a virtual plane P in parallel with the seating faces 8A, 8B mutually in plane symmetry.
