Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material quickly cleaving at the upper side of the coated layer when contacting with water by water supply such as water sprinkling, and to provide seeds using the material. SOLUTION: The coating material for seeds comprises a powder having 5.0-10.0 wet wt.% equilibrium water content in 100% relative humidity and 0.10-0.40 g/cm3temporary specific gravity and a water-soluble binder, wherein the particle size of the seeds is about 1,500 μm or less in round numbers.
