METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INSPECTING SOLIDIFIED STATE OF POWDER FOOD IN CYLINDRICAL CONTAINER IN NON-DESTRUCTIVE MANNER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of the solidified state of powder food in a cylindrical container in a non-destructive manner capable of certainly deciding the solidifed state of content for a short time, and an inspection device therefor. SOLUTION: This non-destructive inspection device 1 of the solidified state of powder food is equipped with an accelerating separation conveyor 5 for rotationally moving a container 2 to be inspected to discharge it at a predetermined speed, the discrimination stand 6 connected to the discharge side of the accelerting separation conveyor 5 to permit the passage of the rotationally moved container to be inspected and a feed-out conveyor 7 wherein a feed passage is provided alongside the discharge side of the discrimination stand 6. The discrimination stand 6 has length set so as to decelerate a good product wherein powder food is not solidified at the time of passage through the discrimination stand 6 to stop rotational movement thereof on the feed-out conveyor but to pass a defective product wherein powder food is solidified through the feed-out conveyor to exclude it.
