Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air breather mechanism capable of preventing the lubricating oil from splashing together with the air to outside a case through this mechanism. SOLUTION: An air breather hole 25 of this air breather mechanism is formed approximately along the moving direction (Arrow E) of the lubricating oil generated in association with rotation of a rotary element installed inside the case 6 and has an opening part 25a to be open to inside the case 6 in such a way as directed to the downstream with respect to the lubricating oil moving direction, so that the oil is unlikely to intrude into the air breather hole 25 from the opening part 25a. This lessens the amount of lubricating oil discharged to outside the case 6 through the air breather hole 25, and it is possible to suppress the decrease in the amount of lubricating oil.
