Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an almost oil-free and water-soluble hair dye composition that scarcely has greasiness after application, permits easy formation of desired hair styles without anxiety of hair stain, hair damage and hair falling caused by dust or the like. SOLUTION: The hair dye composition comprises a silver compound in an amount of 0.01 to 5 mass% in terms of silver, sulfur in an amount of 0.01 to 5 mass%, a water-soluble high polymer material in an amount of 0.01 to 10 mass% and water.
