FAMILY BUDDHIST ALTAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degrees of freedom in design and external appearance, while securing high durable strength in a family Buddhist altar which enables freely taking in/out of a sutra-desk type storage box for storing a bell mount plate. SOLUTION: This family Buddhist altar is provided with a sutra desk type moving body 18 which has a moving board 20 moving in the forward/backward directions, on a base part 2 having a small shrine part 3 in its upper part. The bell mount plate 15, driven by a drive means, is provided on a vacant space H in its one side on the moving board 20. The drive means 22 is provided with a push/pull means 31, which has an operating piece 30 interlocked with the frontward moving of the moving board 20 and is capable of moving relatively in the front/rear to the moving board 20; an obliquely moving means 32 for slidably guiding a driven plate 25 with the bell mount plate mounted thereon, relatively frontward obliquely to the outward relative to the moving board 20; and a guide part 33 formed on the driven plate 25 and engaged with the operating piece 30.
