Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyoxazolidone resin having excellent insulation properties, heat resistance, adhesiveness and flexibility, to provide a method for efficiently producing the resin and to obtain an insulating coating to become a coating film comprising the resin, having insulation properties, heat resistance, adhesiveness, flexibility and soldering properties. SOLUTION: The polyoxazolidone resin is represented by general formula (A) (R1is an organic compound group consisting of 2-20 carbon atoms, hydrogen and oxygen; R2is a hydrocarbon residue consisting of 2-20 carbon atoms and hydrogen; R3is hydrogen or a 1-6C hydrocarbon residue; B is a 1-12C hydrocarbon residue; n is an integer of 1-300).
