CAR BODY STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body structure wherein a vehicle side surface is formed into a flush surface by a comparatively simple structure, and at the same time, which constitutes a side door by which an angular range of view from the inside of the cabin is good, and required rigidity and strength can be obtained. SOLUTION: A window frame 2 of the side door A is formed in such a manner that the rear end section may be opened. At the same time, a strut 6 bridges the cabin side of the upper end section of the window frame 2 and the cabin side of the main body section 1 of the side door A in a manner to be separated from a door glass 3. By eliminating the rear end section of the window frame 2, the vehicle side surface can be formed into a flush surface, and by providing the strut 6, the rigidity and the strength are maintained. In addition, since the strut 6 is away from the door glass 3, the angular range of view from inside of the cabin is good as well. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
