Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst layer-coated member having a reactive interface of at least ten times of that of a conventional photocatalyst layer formed by vacuum deposition, and to provide a method for manufacturing the photocatalyst layer-coated member. SOLUTION: The photocatalyst layer-coated member has the photocatalyst layer having an obliquely columnar structure formed by depositing a Ti oxide obliquely and a metal catalyst layer is deposited on the base part or the top part of the photocatalyst layer having the obliquely columnar structure.
