PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet which can be used by adjacent officers in common with a table for free addresses securing large storage space as a storage and applies an extension function as a top board surface to a furniture with the top board which is installed side by side. SOLUTION: The cabinet 1 includes a first top surface board 1a on the side of a front half section 2A and a second top surface board 1b on the side of a back half section 2B of a main body, wherein a height dimension of the back half section 2B including the second top surface board 1b is set to be stored in a lower space of the top board Ta of the furniture T with the top board, and an aperture 25 is formed in the main body 2 to open the storage space 2S thereof to both left and right directions. Also, the top surface of the first top surface board 1a can be set approximately flush with the top surface of the top board Ta of the furniture T with the top surface board.
