Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a drop rod of a gate door, which enables even the gate door made of castings to be provided with the drop rod in a good-looking manner, and which enables the drop rod to be provided in such a manner as to hardly rattle. SOLUTION: A slide guide part 13 is provided in a lower part of a vertical frame 3 of the gate door 1 in such a manner that an almost U-shaped cross-section recess 12 is provided in a recessed state so as to reach a lower end. The almost U-shaped cross-section drop rod 2 is fitted to the guide part 13 in a covering state so as to be vertically slidable, and an outer surface of the drop rod 2 is made almost flush with that of the vertical frame 3.
