Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tailgate device capable of securing a head clearance on a head upper side of an occupant, and capable of improving space efficiency near an aperture of a tailgate. SOLUTION: An end side of a rod 52 is connected to a linearly moving rack 44, an end side of a curved arm 54 is connected to the other end side of the rod 52, the other end side of the curved arm 54 is connected to the tailgate 15, and a curved guide part 60 coaxially curved with the curved arm 54 and guiding the curved arm 54 by an inner side and an outer side of the curve is provided. Covers 36 and 37 for covering the linearly moving rack 44 on a cabin side are arranged on a high position with the usage of the linearly moving rack 44 which is not vertically oscillated, and an electric motor and a gear box are provided separately from the tailgate aperture to a front side through the rod 52.
