BOTTOM MUD COVERING SAND METHOD BY SAND PILE CREATING SHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore an environment on the sea bottom surface by promoting volume reduction, by contributing to reduction in the water content of floating mud, by pressing down sludge having the possibility of being polluted by heavy metal and dioxin and sludge forming a source of a malodor in an original position, by covering the mud with a sand-like material without rolling up the floating mud of particulates having the high water content of the sea bottom surface, by transforming a ground improvement device into a sand covering device, and by using a sand pile driving ship. SOLUTION: This ground improvement device of the sand pile driving ship is mainly used when improving the weak ground of the sea bottom by a sand drain method and a sand compaction method, and transformed into the sand covering device. In one mode, sand covering is performed at a crawling speed without disturbing the floating mud on the sea bottom surface by using a multistage sieve by the sand covering device, and construction is repeated in a batch system every time when moving a hull. In another mode, the surface of the sea bottom mud is stationarily covered with a filled good-quality material like a thin film by a rotary pushing-out blade, and the sand covering is continuously performed in response to the movement of a work ship.
