Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition which has excellent transparency, thermal stability and flavor retainability, or excellent transparency, thermal stability, flavor retainability and gas barrier property, and hardly causes the staining of molds, when molded, and to provide a polyester packaging material comprising the same. SOLUTION: This polyester composition comprising 100 pts. wt. of a thermoplastic polyester and 0.1 to 30 pts. wt. of a partially aromatic polyamide is characterized by containing a phosphorus compound (P1) represented by structural formula (1) and a phosphorus compound (P2) represented by structural formula (2) in a P1 / P2 molar ratio of ≥0.5.
