Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slow-acting coated granular fertilizer which is naturally degradable, good in the ability to release a fertilizer component delayingly, and is easily applicable to an industrial production process. SOLUTION: The coated granular fertilizer is prepared by coating a granular fertilizer coated or not coated with a hydrophobic compound with a polyurethane coating film formed by reacting hydrogenated castor oil with a polyisocyanate component. In the reaction of the hydrogenated castor oil with the polyisocyanate component, the equivalent ratio of the NCO groups originated in the polyisocyanate component to the OH groups originated in the hydrogenated castor oil is 0.33 to 0.9.
