MOLD FOR MOLDING FOAMED CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make moldable both a vertical hole and a drain hole having dimensions optimal to secure draining characteristics and the strength of the container side face with a simple constitution in a mold for molding a foamed container. SOLUTION: A foaming resin is filled in a cavity space in a mold-closed state, and a foamed container 2 is molded. After that, when a male mold 11 is driven to a mold-opening direction A, the turning shaft 21 of a turning core 12 is also moved toward the same direction. At that time, a drain hole-molding part 20 is pressed to the direction of arrow B by the side 3a of a drain hole 3, and the turning core 12 is turned to the direction of arrow C against the energizing force of a coil spring 22. When the male mold 11 is further driven to the direction A, the drain hole-molding part 20 is separated from the drain hole 3 of the foamed container 2 and thus, the male mold 11 can be released from the container 2.
