ROOT CROP HARVESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering of a foliage part 3a piece cut off from a root crop 3 to a farming field surface, or the like, by raising a crop-pulling out part 10a. SOLUTION: The subject root crop harvester is constituted so as to pull out a field crop 3 in the crop-pulling out part 10a, separate the foliage part 3a in a foliage part cutter 18, receive the foliage part 3a after the cutting off into a leaf discharge chute 92 and make the foliage part 3a slide by own weight onto the rear side of a machine body by guide action of the chute 92. In the root crop harvester angle changing means 94 and 95 for changing a tilting angle θ1 of the leaf discharge chute 92 to a specific size or below when the crop-pulling out part 10a is raised to a position not lower than a specific ground height by power are installed.
