Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photochargeable secondary battery capable of suppressing the drop of power to the minimum even when stored for a long time, by preventing the optically charged power from leaking. SOLUTION: This photochargeable secondary battery is provided with a cylindrical core part, a photoelectric conversion sheet having a flexible photoelectric conversion element wound around the core part and disposed so as to be freely extractable, and a chargeable and dischageable storage battery, and it has almost a cylindrical shape as a whole with the photoelectric conversion sheet wound around the core part. In this core part, an upper flange and a lower flange positioned at its both ends and formed in almost a circular flat plate are integrally provided. As to a structure to roll the photoelectric conversion sheet around the core part, this photochargeable secondary battery has a means whereby the photoelectric conversion sheet is electrically connected to the chargeable storage battery with the photoelectric conversion sheet extracted from the core part, and electrical connection of the photoelectric conversion sheet and the chargeable storage battery is mechanically interrupted with the photoelectric conversion sheet rolled around the core part.
