OPENING SECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening section device which can positively and easily open/close an openable swing weather door arranged outside a window by a simple structure arranged inside the window and in the vicinity of the weather door. SOLUTION: The opening section device 1 is formed of a fixed sash window 25 or the window with an openable Shoji, and the openable swing weather door 30 arranged outside the window. The opening section device has an operating section 40 arranged on an inside portion of either a head or a sill 15 of the window in a manner being slidable along a longitudinal direction of the head or sill, a converting mechanism 80 arranged in the head or sill 15, for converting linear motion of the operating section 40 into rotation, and a lever section 41 for opening/closing the openable swing weather door 30 toward a rotating direction of the converting mechanism 80. The lever section 41 has a moving section 61 arranged at the end thereof, which moves in a manner engaging with a guide section 63 arranged along a lengthwise direction of a head or a rail 37 of the openable swing weather door corresponding to the head or sill 15.
