IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a substantially large installation area is necessary to open and close a cover for paper jam processing at rear of an image forming device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a delivery paper carrying passage 3 arranged on a side surface of an image forming device main body and delivering recording paper on which an image is formed, a reverse means reversing the recording paper on the way to be delivered by sending the same reversely, a reverse carrying passage 8 for carrying the reversed record paper to a re-supply paper carrying passage 13, and is provided with a cover capable of opening and closing the delivery paper carrying passage 3 and the reverse carrying passage 8. The cover is composed of a FD cover 4 forming a part of the delivery paper carrying passage 3 and a reverse cover 10 forming the reverse carrying passage 8, and each cover 4, 10 can be opened and closed independently.
