Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of temporarily forming a fluid barrier in a connection section between the filling system of a food packaging machine and an article supply pipeline. SOLUTION: The connection section 10 is provided with a chamber 16 having an inlet section 16a and an article section 16b. The inlet section 16a has an inlet 18 connected to a fluid system provided with an air supply section and a steam supply section. The article section 16b has an inlet 20 connected to the article supply pipeline 14 and an outlet 22 connected to the filling system 12.
