DISCHARGED SOIL TREATMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharged soil treatment method which subjects discharged soil to pressing dehydration by applying effective treatment to the discharged soil and thereafter directly charging the discharged soil to a filter press, which makes it possible to suppress the weight ratio of water/soil particle content in a low moisture state and discharge the discharged soil to the outside by means of a dump car, etc., and which does not discharge any industrial waste and contaminated water which cannot be utilized to the outside. SOLUTION: In the discharged soil treating method, the discharged soil is charged into a plurality of filter chambers 4-2 of a filter press 4 stacked in the transverse direction and thereafter the muddy soil content on the upper part formed by sedimentation is taken out of the stacked filter chambers, is transferred to a slurry tank 5 and is stored. Thereafter, the muddy soil content whose concentration is adjusted is taken out of the slurry tank 5 and is charged under pressure into the filter press 4 again. The charged muddy soil content and the part remaining in the filter chamber are subjected to pressing dehydration, and subsequently the filter chamber 4-2 of the filter press is opened and the dehydrated cake is discharged.
