OPTICAL SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS EQUIPPED THEREWITH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical semiconductor device which uses a semiconductor laser element high in emission efficiency and is capable of restraining the optical axis of the semiconductor laser element from getting misaligned with that of a package lens, and to provide an electronic apparatus equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The optical semiconductor device 1 is equipped with a laser beam source formed of the semiconductor laser element 12 and a package lens 16 containing the laser beam source. A laser beam emitted from the laser beam source is reflected on its light path and radiated outside so as to travel along the optical axis of the package lens 16. The laser beam source is arranged so as not to align the optical axis of a laser beam emitted from the laser beam source with that of the package lens 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
