Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system, easily detecting the presence of a cell abnormally decreased in voltage at a low cost. SOLUTION: This fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell 11 constructed by serially stacking two or more blocks 24 formed of an arbitrary number of cells; a light emitting element 36 connected to both ends of the block 24 and adapted to emit light when predetermined voltage is applied; a photo detecting element 37 constituting a photo coupler 31 with the light emitting element 36; and a block voltage determination means connected to the photo detecting elements 37 to determine that the voltage of the block 24 becomes a threshold or less from the potential of the photo detecting element 37. The system is provided with a streamline element 41 serially connected to the light emitting element 36 and rectifying the direction of a current in one direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
